Question about screen protector

I purchased some screen protector for my s10e, but when I applied it there was an air gap around the edges, everywhere. Then I had to apply some weird liquid to all edges, which then sealed the screen to the screen protector. But it's not perfect and I can still see some lines where the liquid didn't fully go.

Is this extra liquid stuff normal for the s10e screen protectors? Or did I get a shitty one?

If you were doing this for the first time, you should not try it yourself, you should have taken it to a mobile shop.

Actually, the only issue here is that you're inexperienced with how to apply protectors. Nailing how to apply protectors requires a bit of skill and experience. If you know someone who does it a lot, take it to them. If you don't, check out a few YT tutorials before you give it a go. If there's no other option, get a few cheap ones for your low-end or dead phones and get good with them.
