The Nokia 2 is official and boasts a 2-day battery life

After releasing the top-of-the-range Nokia 8, and waiting to launch the rumored Nokia 9, HMD Global has announced a new entry-level smartphone for less demanding users. Called the Nokia 2, the new model's main selling points are its affordability, as well as a long battery life.

Nokia 2 design

The cheapest of Nokia smartphones doesn't neglect its design. The images of the Nokia 2 show a classic but elegant looking smartphone with simple lines and no buttons on the front. As you might expect, the body is made of plastic and comes in three colors: black, copper or white.

Nokia 2 hardware

The Nokia 2 is an entry-level smartphone, with an introductory price of below $99, so naturally it does not offer especially high-end specifications. Under the hood, the Nokia 2 packs a Snapdragon 212 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. 5 inch HD display for the screen. The Nokia 2 would ship with Android Nougat ready, but with the update to Android Oreo confirmed. The phone will also have Google Assistant, making it stand out from the crowd in the entry-level market.

When it comes to photos, the Nokia 2 features an 8-megapixel main sensor at the rear and a 5-megapixel front sensor. Finally, there's its most interesting and hyped feature, the 4100 mAh battery. HMD promises 2 days away from the charger, assuming you use the phone for 5 hours a day.

I'd like to read a review about its gps navigation capability, since I read somewhere that Nokia 2 doesn't have compass and stuff like that. So I thought it might affect the navigation. I really need this function to support my daily activities, and oh... Camera review, please?

I am a fan of Nokia since my adolescence :D
My first mobile was also Nokia.

As Nokia 2 has great features and a long time battery life, I think it would be great in business with a user-friendly experience.
    Best of luck Nokia 2!
