Shazam
Shazam is an application for music identification. To get it working simply place your device next to a speaker while an unknown song is playing. If things match up after approximately 30 seconds the title, artist, and the appropriate cover art for the given song is displayed.

Features & Use
First impression: Amazing! This application turns a possibly hour-long excruciating search into a simple click of a button.
The following features are included in the application:
- Music identification via microphone
- Display of song title, artist, album, genre (upon identification)...
- Search on Amazon MP3 Store for song titles
- Search for additional information on Myspace and YouTube.
Out of curiosity we tried out identifying 10 music tracks with this application. Whereas newer songs we're easily identified, the application had a tough time identifying classical music pieces. Even really famous pieces, like the Toccata or the Ride of the Valkyries, unfortunately came up as unknown tracks. Merely 4 tracks were successfully identified.
Bottom line: The idea and layout of this application is really impressive. Unfortunately, the music identification itself fails to be consistently good in all musical genres.
Screen & Controls
Very intuitive controls (access via two simple buttons). All navigation within the application is very user-friendly and scored highly in our test.
Speed & Stability
The application is ready-to-go as soon as you click on the main icon. 10 seconds of any given song gets recorded and then analyzed. All in all it’s totally satisfactory. There were no stability issues during the tests.
Price/Performance Ratio
The application is available to download for free from Android Market. Additional costs may apply when obtaining music tracks from the Amazon MP3 Store.

Shazam also works if I mend the song?
Because otherwise I do not know a song has fallen, I do not know how to describe it in words because a search engine for lyrics so find it. But it would be more convenient to whistle some of the songs in the microphone, and then I can search for it. You do not ask me if I can sing, I just feel like I'm fine!
With google introducing similar apps what hope have they got of survival.
